Lady Cream Peas are a type of cowpea. They have no color and, when cooked, they yield a clear pot liquor. They have a sweet flavor and creamy texture and are featured in Southern dishes. Like all of our beans, Camellia’s Lady Cream Peas are non-GMO, gluten-free, and meet the “Hayward Standard” – the name our growers gave our bean quality standard – which exceeds the top USDA requirements. Try some today – we think you’ll taste the difference.

Quite good and easy to make. I wish I would have frozen half the batch/bag so I could have more for next week! Must save next order!

Lady Cream Peas are delicious.

I cooked the Lady Cream Peas per package directions, with a bit of butter, and the flavor was delicious. However, the peas took a lot longer to become tender than indicated on the package, I used the cooked peas in Joe Yonan's 'Roasted Tomato and Pepper Soup' from the Cool Beans cookbook. Perfect for a fall supper.

My favorite!

Small, Tender. Easy to cook. Can add vegetables or meat to make a tasty pot of peas.
