many thanks for your hospitality during the tour guides' visit to your Harahan facility. bagging the beans is a fascinating process. and for your generosity in giving a Camellia t-shirt. I love it and wear it proudly. I've enjoyed your red bean recently and your blackeyed peas on New Year's day. Your brand is my go-to for beans and peas. Thank you.
I used these in place of kidney beans for a “red beans” recipe and they were delicious. Also great in place of pinto beans in a poblano and bean chili.
My absolute favorite choice of peas. Trying to find these outside of the South is difficult. While it’s crazy paying this much for a pk of crowder peas, I was desperate.
I’m a Louisiana girl. My whole life I have ate Camellia Red Beans. Moving across country to the East Coast, it’s hard to walk into a store & find them. Never EVER thought I’d ever pay +$5 for a pk, but here we are.
I have lived away from my home state for 34 years, but every year I MUST have my Camellia blackeye peas. I would either buy them while there visiting, or in the last 10-12 years that I don't return as much, I order them online. There is just no comparison to the quality of the beans at Camellia so I always order several other kinds, in addition to my New Year's requirement. Once again, thank you for my Louisiana good luck!
